Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 October 2026
This policy describes how the Weekwell: GLP-1 Shot Tracker iPhone app handles information. The app is published by Mikita Kharoshka ("we", "us").
The short version
- There is no account. We never ask for your name, email address or phone number.
- Everything you log — medication, doses, injection sites, side effects, weight, water, protein, food noise and notes — stays on your iPhone. It is never uploaded to us, and we never sell or share it.
- Apple Health, the microphone and Face ID are only used when you turn them on, and only for what's described below.
- Purchases go through Apple. A subscription service, Apphud, receives purchase and technical data — never your health information or your identity.
- There are no ads, and the app does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
What stays on your device
The following is kept on your iPhone and is never transmitted to us:
- Your journal — the medication and schedule you set up, every dose with its date, amount, unit and injection site, side effects with their severity, weigh-ins, water, protein, food noise, notes, and pauses in your treatment.
- Copies of it — the previous version of the journal and a copy from each of the last seven days, kept next to the journal so a mistake or a failed update never loses your history.
- Your settings — goals, units, reminder times, discreet mode, app lock and similar preferences.
- Streak freezes — the number you have and the purchases already credited, kept in the iOS Keychain so reinstalling the app doesn't lose or duplicate them. They contain counts and purchase transaction numbers, nothing else.
The app's widgets and Live Activity read the journal from storage shared only between the app and its own extensions. Your iPhone's own backup (iCloud or a computer), and moving to a new iPhone, include this data the way they include any app's data. Deleting the app removes everything above except the Keychain item with the streak freeze count.
Nothing is stored in iCloud by the app itself. When you choose to export a CSV file, a PDF report or a backup file, it's created on your iPhone and goes wherever you send it with the share sheet — nothing is sent to us.
Permissions the app asks for
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| Notifications | Reminders when a dose is due, a gentle nudge later that day if it isn't logged, and a heads-up two days before a free trial ends. They're scheduled on your iPhone. In discreet mode, which is on by default, they never name your medication. |
| Apple Health | To read weigh-ins (for example from a smart scale) and to save the weight, water and protein you log. Health data is used only to show your own progress in the app. It is never used for advertising, never sold and never leaves your device to us. |
| Microphone and speech recognition | Only while you're using voice logging, to turn what you say into entries you confirm before saving. Where your iPhone supports your language on the device, speech is recognised on the iPhone. Where it doesn't, iOS sends the recording to Apple to transcribe it, under Apple's privacy policy. Understanding the words is done on your iPhone, with Apple's on-device model where available. Recordings are never kept or sent to us; the text is kept as the dose's note. |
| Face ID or passcode | Only if you turn on the app lock. iOS checks your face or passcode; the app is told only whether it matched. |
The app does not ask for, and does not use, your contacts, photos, camera or location.
Health information and your rights
Information about your health is special-category data under laws such as the GDPR (EU and UK), the LGPD (Brazil) and the KVKK (Turkey). Weekwell processes it only on your device, only to provide the app's features to you, and only after you enter it or allow access to it. You can see, change and delete every entry in the app's Journal, export all of it, or delete it all by deleting the app.
Purchases
Weekwell Pro and streak freezes are sold through the App Store and processed by Apple. We never see or handle your payment details.
We use Apphud (Apphud Inc.) to check whether a subscription is active, to deliver purchases and to show the right offer. Apphud receives technical and purchase data: device model, operating system and app version, language and country, an identifier Apphud generates for your installation, your purchase and subscription history, and which offer screens were shown. It does not receive your name, email address or anything from your journal or Apple Health. See the Apphud privacy policy.
Advertising and tracking
The app shows no ads, does not access the advertising identifier (IDFA), and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Medical disclaimer
Weekwell is a tracking and reminder tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or dosage recommendations, and its medication level chart is an estimate, not a measurement. Always follow your prescriber's instructions.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your requests
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of data relating to you, and to object to certain processing. Almost everything the app knows about you is on your iPhone and is yours to change or delete. For the purchase data held by Apphud, write to us and we will have it deleted.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the updated version is published on this page with a new date at the top.
